Freelancer: turn a service update into a booking

Your brief might be one monthly newsletter, a signup form and a short welcome sequence. Write a representative issue with one booking action. Your essential checks are whether the form fits your website, the welcome sequence works on the selected plan and the reply address reaches you. Evaluate how long it takes to build the second issue using the first as a template.

Creator: publish to the whole audience on schedule

A newsletter-led business may value audience capacity and the ability to send one edition to everyone on the same day. Compare audience and broadcast allowances before investigating optional features. If paid subscriptions matter, list the checkout, payment and cancellation workflow separately: a newsletter allowance alone does not establish that those functions meet your needs.

Online shop: start with the integration

Write the event that should trigger each message, such as a new subscription or a change in a customer field. Verify that your shop integration supplies the necessary event and that the chosen plan can use it. Keep promotional campaigns separate from order confirmations in your evaluation. If the required integration fails, expand your shortlist rather than accepting a workaround you cannot maintain.

Use the same small trial for every candidate

Prepare your own test addresses and repeat one complete journey: signup, welcome email, newsletter, main link and unsubscribe. Record the plan and any missing step. Add one requirement specific to your business, such as a booking link or an integration event. A polished template is not evidence that this whole journey works.

Decide with constraints, then compare price

First eliminate plans that cannot handle an essential workflow or deadline. Next compare the full bill and the work needed to set up or migrate. Write down the largest unresolved question and resolve it before committing. Our existing MailerLite, Kit and Brevo comparisons provide a researched starting point; they do not cover every product or replace your trial.
