An editorial review: breadth versus limitations

TechRadar’s review, updated 22 February 2026, values the combination of email, CRM and automation. It also highlights limited landing-page functionality and a large price jump to Professional. These are that publisher’s assessments, not WePickTools test results. Its article discloses affiliate funding.

A user discussion: integration matters

In an r/Emailmarketing thread, a small nonprofit considering alternatives to Mailchimp says it likes Brevo’s Wix integration. The poster is asking for recommendations, rather than reporting a completed long-term evaluation. Treat this as a useful integration question, not proof that Brevo will work better with every Wix site.

A source disagreement to notice

The TechRadar article describes the free contact allowance as unlimited. Brevo’s current documentation specifies 100,000 stored contacts and 300 sends per day. We use the current provider limit for capacity calculations. This illustrates why an otherwise useful review should not be your only source for present-day plan terms.

Check the paid contact allowance too

Brevo’s entry Starter tier pairs 5,000 monthly sends with up to 500 stored contacts. Moving from free to a paid tier does not mean every capacity increases. Check both columns in the plan documentation before upgrading. A pricing misunderstanding is different from a demonstrated software defect.

Convert the reports into a trial checklist

Try the signup integration your site actually uses. Build the landing page you need, if any. Import a small test dataset and check its fields. Finally, price the plan required by your real contact count and monthly sends. Write down failures with the date and configuration so a provider can reproduce them.
